Puppy training is as difficult to the trainers as it is to the puppies that are getting trained. Puppy training is an acquired art and it needs a lot of patience and perseverance, apart from the expertise required in the training techniques and methodologies. It is important to understand that puppies do not have advanced intelligence to understand, grasp and display proper etiquette that they are getting trained on right from the word go. People who train dogs always complain that in spite of their efforts, the puppies do not respond too commands at all times. They also lose patience and give up on the training which can actually be detrimental to the behavior and obedience of the puppies, after they grow up. It is important to understand that it can take several months to train puppies to acceptable levels and even this depends upon the personality of the dogs and also the training methods followed by the trainers. Expert dog trainers can achieve the results much earlier but for general people who train their own puppies, it may take some time before results show up. Puppy training is an evolving process that is based on the trust and level of understanding between the trainer and the puppy.
